Luke Hand
Luke Hand is a freshman this year at the Big Spring High School. He is fairly new to the district, because he moved here when he was in 7th grade. Luke said his biggest fear of high school was the seniors, because he likes to be the tall one of the group, but there are so many upperclassmen that are taller than him. In 10 years, Luke sees himself as a very successful businessman who is very rich. Luke is unique compared to other kids in the high school, because he is ¾ deaf. He has had hearing aids for 11 years now. Luke said that he is able to hear less and less as his deafness progresses. When Luke isn’t at school, he is either swimming, doing track, or playing video games. Catch Luke on your Channel 3 News.
