Maylei Noreika, Reporter
Maylei Noreika is a Senior at Big Spring High School. She participates in Basketball and Field Hockey for Big Spring. She transferred to Lake Mary High School outside of Orlando, Florida her junior year. She returned to Big Spring for her senior year, and she currently is finishing her senior year and hoping to get her 4th 1st Team All-Star. Her transfer back has been extremely smooth, as she found “her people” here. Her best friends are Laylah Chestnut and Zaida Moore. She says that they make her feel like herself. After finishing high school she hopes to pursue her dream job of being a radiation therapist, as they make a good amount of money as well as being able to help people in need. She also wishes to travel to Australia after graduation, as it is a beautiful destination. Her favorite drink is coffee, her coffee order is an Iced Vanilla Oat Milk Latte from Dunkin. She is happiest when she is alone after being around people for a long period. While being alone makes her happy, she also is happy when she listens to Daniel Caesar and Drizzy Drake. If she isn’t listening to music, she is often watching her favorite TV show, The Vampire Diaries.
