Fall sports have come to an end and training has begun for winter sports. The swim team looks to have a successful season and they have claimed a few new athletes who are arising from the middle school into the competitive high school swim team. Izzy Walley, a member of the girls swim team and cross country runner, said “I am excited to put in a lot of work just like I did in the cross country season” Walley also hinted that the new freshman this year are going to fill in some big roles Caleb Stewert back, will will be a big threat in meets this year as the returning members of the team grow this year to get better in every aspect. Ray Gutshall, a member of the men’s team said, “I am very excited to be around the team and grow closer with the team as we are already very close.” The team being so close allows for the team to get easily hyped up as they are with one another because of the connection they share. The swim team is very excited for the season ahead of them and they are ready to work hard and do what it takes to win.
